I have yet to hear one voter who is taking pleasure in the 2016 presidential election. Most will be glad when it is over. I avoid election articles in our newspaper, and I skip every Facebook post having to do with politics. It was while walking to the creek near our polling place that I saw a bunch of election signs. I don’t know why I looked at them, but I saw a set of three red and white signs that thrilled me.
What about you? Would you vote for Forest Gump for president? He certainly knew how to run.
My favorite political post so far this year!

Best election post yet!! You hit a home run on this one Anne. I have a tough time listening to the news lately because of all of it……I do, however, love those three signs. My dad used to tell us that sometimes you need to find the humor and laugh or you will cry. I think he might be right.

We definitely need humor in these times. Mountain-moving faith would come in handy, too.

Yes it would come in handy. For now I am just working on Trust :). I keep reminding myself that God’s got this and He wins in the end.

Oh Anne, if I were an American and able to vote, Gump would have my ballot’s X for sure! Because life can indeed be like a box of “chocklits”!

It has been a long time since I saw the movie. I had forgotten how Forest pronounced “chocklits”.

Picture is a great catch. Actually I took it as “Head for the hills, Trees, and Nature – only destructive behavior ahead”

He’s got a good heart and he’ll use it…and he’ll be the fittest president in years.
