Sunday Visit

The first full day daughter Kate was here, her son Nathaniel and girlfriend Sarah came to visit. What a marvelous day we had! We celebrated David’s birthday at the end of a late lunch.

Nathaniel had sent his mother a jigsaw puzzle for Mother’s Day, and they began working it. The the puzzle picture was a photo of Kate and her two sons. Kate has continued working on it, and I’m waiting for most of it to be done before trying to find a piece.

I asked them to pose under the old oak tree. I think everyone was satisfied with the result.

The amusing video from the day was Kate’s directing people to sit up, but not that straight, and Nate’s lighting the candle with a flourish.

      1. We hope so pretty soon…maybe in the fall. A lot has to go in our favor to make it happen, so pray for that! I’m dying to meet you! ☺️

  2. How the heck do you get your videos to work and I can’t seem to do it? I have no problem with sharing YouTube videos but not my own!

    1. Most of the time the videos go in easily. There are probably several ways to do it. I download videos from a camera to the phone. Then I share one at a time to the You Cut app — trim, save as small as possible, and share to a folder that can be accessed by the computer. From there I drag and drop in WordPress. It’s a bit convoluted, but I got used to it. I hope you find something that works easily for you.

  3. It sounds like a fun get together Anne and what a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift from Nathaniel to Kate. Hope YOU get that last puzzle piece in before Kate heads back home. I like the photo you took of everyone under the oak tree and the cute video.
