As we walked, neighbor Joyce looked at the house we were passing and said, “Look! There is CAT!”
Sure enough, it was my old friend that used to walk a few yards with me many mornings. I was delighted to see her, having thought she must be dead. I hadn’t seen her in months. She resumed our old routine of greeting, walking a few steps, and stopping for petting before walking again.
As she walked toward me, I took this quick shot. It’s blurred, but I have proof she is still alive. I wondered if she would wait for us to come back and walk with us the opposite way, but there was no sign of her.

Welp cats gotta cat. What a hoot to see her… then she’s gone again.

“But the cat came back the very next day
The cat came back, they thought he was a goner
But the cat came back, it just couldn’t stay away
Away, away”

She was an outdoor cat with access to the garage. We wondered if the family let her in the house during could weather.

She was probably checking to see if you had gotten any more interesting. When I was a kid we had a female cat who abandoned us. Occasionally we’d see her sunbathing at the neighbors and smoking a cigarette. I think she got a little trashy.

Ha! Ha! I can imagine that!

Now you have to take a handful of cat treats in your pocket for Cat for your early morning encounters.

I would never have thought of that. I think I have enough dog treats that I don’t need to buy any for the cat.

She’d be following you home then. 🙂

Yeah! She just wanted to make real sure you missed her! 😀😀 Glad your furry friend is back to join you part way on your preambulations. In Sweden we befriended a cat who would come up for a chat, walk around the land with us – she was lying in front of the car as we were packing it! Had to shoo her away and felt hard to leave. Hope you’re having a good start to the weekend, Anne.

That’s why I can’t have cat anymore I would die in worry every time they are gone doing cat things

We had four cats over several years. I guess I was too busy tending the children to worry about the cats.
