Neighbor Marla brought us lovely cucumbers again. This time I didn’t wait for a family-appreciation photo, because the package was so cute. We all like cucumbers, but at least two of us are wild about them. They won’t last long here.

Ours are coming in now, large bowl of Sweet & Sour in the fridg. Just love those neighbors with gardens. Mary Agnes did Peach Jam over the weekend, fresh loaf of bread today. What diet?

Marla is a winner. We enjoy chatting with her. Right now our walking time coincides with her walking dog Albert, so there is a possibility we’d see her six times in a week. In a few weeks, we’ll shift our walking later to avoid darkness and won’t see her unless she is early.
