I swore I’d never again shop on the day after Thanksgiving. Once was enough 20 years ago. This year Lise needed sneakers, and John asked us to get something for him. Thankfully we did not get involved with frantic crowds or snarly people. Nathaniel was game to go with us, and I saw firsthand why Lise loves to have her nephews shop with her.

Who needs ladders when you have your own personal Nathaniel.

He would be happy to help if he could.

Haha, Nathaniel is so tall, you need him for those out of reach items.

Too funny. It hasn’t been that crowded, I don’t think. In fact it was more crowded before Thanksgiving.

Do you suppose people are tired of the mad rush on Black Friday? With the trend toward on-line ordering, maybe the real rush is Cyber Monday.

I’m inclined to agree.

Always great to have a tall person with you when shopping. I´m only 5 feet so I often have to find a tall person to help me. Glad they found what they needed it.

I am eternally grateful that my daughter towers over me and can reach all sorts of things.

Lise didn’t need the ladder that was nearby -it’s very good to have a tall person handy.
