Daughter Kate and I chatted from time to time as she drove from New Jersey to North Carolina. She made it in record time –12.5 hours! The first morning here, we walked to the stop sign. I hadn’t been there for over a month because I didn’t want the sun on the surgical sites on my face. It was very foggy, so perhaps I didn’t need the protecting hat.

wonder what you two will be up to!

It was chilly this morning. It was 56° this morning when we went walking. I am warm-blooded. Kate is cold-blooded.

I’m with Kate. It was in the 50s here too. It felt refreshing but I needed my heavy hoodie!
